Goals and Technologies
SmartAuction® supports both upward and downward auctions, with advanced features such as mobile and remote participation, automatic weighting, traceability via smart labels, and packaging with embedded data. It offers live HD video streaming of goods, automatic weight management, label printing, and an interface for invoicing transport documents (DDT) and commissions.
The traceability system complies with the provisions of EU Regulation 2023/2842
Results in fish markets
Active since July 2021, the platform has been adopted by the fish market in Civitavecchia (Coop. Marinai e Caratisti) and, more recently, by the market in San Benedetto del Tronto. The system manages over 1.4 million kg of fish per year, with 480,000 transactions and a value of over €10 million.
SmartAuction® is a scalable product for sector-specific electronic auctions, offering high levels of transparency, traceability, and usability. It is also ideal for sectors other than the seafood industry, where wholesale sales and dynamic participation are required. The platform is available with a customizable license and integrated with an AI system for fish species identification and payment systems to ensure buyer solvency.
